Different was meant to highlight the different bright red pistil at the front, standing out and leader like leading the others behind it, again F2.8 was used to create a blurry effect.

darker background?
darker background? are you sure? I think it would look better if the background was lighter
Contrast needed
The image looks a bit grainy and color contrast is a bit poor. Overal, subject interest is a bit poor. Perhaps a better composition is needed with a darker background .... just my POV
